BIO:
What started as a trip to Jamaica at the
age of 17 has now lead Tilmann Otto, AKA: Gentleman, on a "Journey
To Jah" all over the world. Born on 1977 in Cologne Germany, Gentleman
gained interest in reggae through his older brother's music collection
and sound system tapes from friends. A serries of trips back and forth
to Jamaica after his first arrival led Gentleman to the development of
his music. Today his unique blend of singjay style, conscious lyrics,
and outstanding live perfomances have earned him a high level of success
at home in Europe, and abroad in Jamaica. Top jamaican producers such
as Richie Stephens, Bobby Digital, Steven Stanley, Black Scorpio, Cali
Bud, and Don Corleon have worked with Gentleman over the years to produce
hit singles and classic albums. Gentleman's album "Journey
To Jah" was noted for a half year on the German charts. His latest
album "Confidence" has been listened to and talked about by
people all over the world. Gentleman has his own solo anthems such as "Dem
Gone", "Superior", and "Intoxication", but he
also knows how to make a smash hit with someone else . Songs like "Blessings
Of Jah" with Ras Shiloh, "Jah Jah Never Fail" with Terry
Linen, and "Be Your Self" with Coco Tea are among Gentleman's
greatest material. This year in 2006 he will be travelling all of Europe
on his "More Confidence Tour", and Shock Out would like to
wish him and the talented Far East Band a safe and successuful journey.
